This decade in Singapore will be quite significant in the history of contemporary art as it marks an event of immeasurable importance with their global collection of over 100 galleries, which represent over 30 countries. In addition to this, the event will showcase Singapore’s impressive trajectory as a renowned cultural focal point in the world. ART SG is also set to propel Singapore into becoming a cultural hub worldwide.
Expect a varied and impressive array of exhibits.

This event will be graced with the presence of important figures, Richard Koh Fine Art, STPI, Gajah Gallery and many more, which showcase the extent of talent found in their region.
From galleries such as Zilberman and IanKstudio returning after a brief hiatus to the new gallery introductions of Gmurzynska and Haridas, which will be present at Art SG, this unique mix of old and new ensures that Art SG 2025 will cater towards both emerging and established artists alike.
There is a strong regional focus due to an increase of over 30% in exhibitors domiciled in Southeast Asia; this ensures that Art SG 2025 is considered a top-tier exhibition for regional talent. Covering the whole region from Singapore to Bali, these galleries promise to showcase the diversifying artistic stories and energetic creative centers.
Program Highlights for ART SG 2025
With the aim of identifying all regions and their unique art forms, ART SG 2025 has fused all of them to provide an immersive experience-themed exhibition that caters to every single art lover and enthusiast with its wide range of programs.
Galleries Sector
The largest segment at ART SG 2025 is the galleries sector, which has been divided simply into ‘Galleries’ and ‘Fairs.’ Over this segment, entire multidisciplinary artworks will be showcased, including the Zappon, Zilberman, and Juda Annely Sculptural.
Focus Sector
FOCUS notices selected works of appreciable quality by young and mid-career artists who are specially noted for their handling of new forms and techniques. Some relevant exhibitions are SAC Gallery’s “A Hopeless Hope” by the Thai artist Naraphat Sakarthornsap and works from HdM Gallery tied to a more personal approach based on the practice of mourning in Korea.
FUTURES Sector
Contemporary art of tomorrow is presented for the first time in Singapore at FUTURES, which focuses on young galleries under ten years old. Haridas Contemporary will display a monumental sculpture by Melissa Tan, “The Fates,” that examines mythology and womanhood. Warin Lab Contemporary, on the other hand, will rather disrupt the established history with “A World in Parallel” by Nakrob Moonmanas and Eri Imamura.
PLATFORM INSTALLATIONS
The main focus of the PLATFORM sector is on large-scale and site-specific installations done in the form of verticals. Particular interest is reserved for Miya Ando’s “Moon Ensō,” which is a visual expression and contemplation of the lunar phases, as well as Shavonne Wong’s “Eva,” an interactive performance piece centered on HCI and called “Eva.”
FILM PROGRAM

From video works, the construction of the art of storytelling is woven into the FILM program conceived by Stefano Rabolli Pansera. New themed chapters await us, such as “Constructing Landscapes” or “Ruins and Memories,” that give a new angle to contemporary art practices.
TALKS Program
Supported by AXA XL, The TALKS series explores contemporary themes in art, such as the role of AI and what the future of art collecting may look like. Thought leaders bring divergent perspectives to these discussions, including Aaron Cezar from the Delfina Foundation, who will attend alongside Mandy El-Sayegh and Korakrit Arunanondchai to share critical insight into the collecting psychology and politics discussions.
ART SG 2025 CYCLE and the SAM ART SG Fund
ART SG 2025 sees the introduction of the new SAM ART SG Fund. This fund has been created to enhance the SAM collection, and the goal is to acquire international and Southeast Asian artworks. With an annual budget set at $150,000 SGD, the fund strengthens the position of the Singapore Art Museum as a cultural lighthouse.
This three-year plan is a clear commitment to promoting philanthropy and accessibility to art for the public. As Eugene Tan, Director of SAM, reported: “This fund perfectly illustrates our commitment to a world-class collection and how international diversity is celebrated.”
Cultural partnerships and collaborations
Building a strong partnership with top cultural institutions ensures that ART SG 2025 will have broad and rich programming.
– The innovative FILM program, “By Artists, On Artists,” comes from Bangkok Kunsthalle. It is a juxtaposition of films made by artists to films made about artists.
• The Delfina Foundation curates debates around art philanthropy and collecting.
• M Art Foundation organizes cross-border artist exchange projects.
These collaborations will enhance the global and local relevance of ART SG 2025 while allowing new audiences to discover contemporary art from different perspectives.
A Driver for Artistic Development in Southeast Asia
ART SG 2025 cements Singapore’s reputation as a cultural center and promotes engagement between the local and foreign art worlds. The timing of the fair, as it coincides with Singapore Art Week 2025, allows it to be part of the larger global celebration of creativity in the city. The scope of these events will also include ordinary museums, galleries and private collections in Singapore and enhance the experience overall.
“ART SG promotes art exchange and places Singapore as an important cultural hub, which is why Singapore is the expected country for ART SG,” Magnus Renfrew, co-founder of ART SG, noted. “It is a meeting point for collectors, artists and galleries to build connections that last.”
UBS, as Founding and Lead Partner of ART SG, has greatly contributed to its success. Through its “Art For All” campaign, UBS will showcase a 60-meter-long tapestry designed to celebrate 60 years of independence in Singapore as a sign of commitment to making art accessible to the broader community.
According to UBS, “ART SG signifies the evolution of Singapore as an international cultural center, with a vibrant art market that captivates collectors while broadening the comprehension of modern art.”
